Monday Jan 9th, 1 – 3 pm, watercolours, Sunderland Library, a couple of spaces left, contact myself or  the library if you are interested.

Tuesday Jan 10th, 1 – 3 pm, intermediate acrylics, Sandhill Community rooms, £50 for 10 weeks.

Wednesday Jan 11th, 10 – 12, watercolours at St. Aidan’s church, Herrington re-starts, the class is full but I can put names down on a waiting list.

Wednesday Jan 11th, 1 – 3 pm, art and drawing class (all abilities), now at St. Aidan’s church, Herrington. £50 for 10 weeks.

Wednesday Jan 11th, 7 – 9 pm, watercolours (all abilities), Washington Church of Christ, Columbia, Washington, £60 for 10 weeks

NEW – BEGINNER’S ACRYLICS, Thursday 12th January, Washington Library, 1pm – 3 pm. The course has funding so the costs will be reduced. Contact myself or the Library for further details.

Christmas presents…Art classes/Painting day at Wallington

Christmas Craft Fair – Washington Old Hall

Sunday 27th November 2011, Washington Old Hall, Washington Village, 11 a.m till 4 p.m, I will be selling and displaying my wares! Mainly small watercolours, hand painted cards and Christmas cards taken from original paintings, come along and have a peek.

New work

Painting day success at Wallington

The weather was kind to us (considering the non-existent Summer!) for our watercolour painting day at Wallington in Northumberland last Saturday. The dull/damp start heightened the Autumn colours in the flower borders, some people chose to paint outside in the beautiful walled gardens, others the more tropical flora inside the conservatory. The sun shone in the afternoon giving opportunities to draw paint more structural subjects such as the clock tower and it’s surrounding buildings or just the fabulous view from in front of the hall.

That is probably it for this year’s outside painting expeditions, unless we have an Indian Summer/glorious Autumn, in which case I will keep you posted. I have loaded a few photos below from Saturday, they were supposed to be

Classes September 2011

Refreshed and back from Portugal, tan fading rapidly, Mozzi bites stubbornly remain!

Here are the classes I am running from 2011 with the start dates, times and costs, I will list them in order of days of the week:

WATERCOLOURS – INTERMEDIATE   At SUNDERLAND CITY LIBRARY. Starts MONDAY 19th SEPTEMBER for 10 weeks, 1pm -3pm. Cost £36 full fee, £18 for those aged 60 and over and free for those on income related benefits

ACRYLICS – INTERMEDIATE  At SANDHILL COMMUNITY ROOMS, Sunderland. Starts TUESDAY SEPTEMBER 13th 1pm – 3pm. 10 weeks £45.

ST. AIDAN’S WATERCOLOUR CLASS. Currently Full, with approximately 17 members of mixed ability. Re-starts WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 7th, 10 am-12 pm

ART/DRAWING CLASS. At PENNYWELL NEIGHNOURHOOD CENTRE. Starts WEDNESDAY 7th September 1pm-3pm, 10 weeks £40. The class is open to all abilities and covers basic drawing techniques and experimenting with various drawing medium including pens, pencils, pastels and charcoal.

EVENING WATERCOLOUR CLASS. At WASHINGTON. Providing enough numbers to go ahead – Starts WEDNESDAY SEPTEMBER 13th,  7pm – 9pm, 10 weeks £60. The class is open to all abilities and covers all aspects of watercolour techniques.

NEW – BEGINNERS ACRYLICS. At WCDT, SWAN STREET, Sunderland, – Starts THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 15th, 10 – 12. Starting with the basic techniques going on to develop style and knowledge
